It's a Christmas Tradition

It’s a Christmas tradition. The Grace Church Partner Catalog. For the Outreach and Partners Team at Grace, gathering the text and photos and working with Communications as they create the Partner Catalog is a Christmas tradition in our office. After Christmas, we have the opportunity to bless our Partner Ministries with the gifts that all of you have given.

As Christmas approaches, families at Grace sit down together and read the catalog to plan their Christmas giving. Last year, many of our partners wanted to say “thank-you” to you, the people of Grace. In the next couple of weeks, you will see videos that share our partner’s appreciation for last year’s gift as well as updates in some of the latest happenings in their ministry. As you watch and enjoy, please consider making the Grace Partner Catalog a tradition of giving in your family!

Project Eden

In 2016, thanks to support from Grace Church, Project Eden was able to complete our three-year pond restoration project at the front of the 146th Street campus. We are restoring the previously broken ecosystem to native habitat. Insects, animals, native plants, and people will be able to enjoy the wetland area for years to come!

Scott and Lisa Santee-Global Short Film Network with CRU

One of those churches I mention in the video is now one of the largest churches in this Middle Eastern country (near some Syrian refugee camps). Several of their leaders recently joined one of our mission trips in a short film outreach at one of their nearby universities. They were astounded as 15 students became followers of Jesus! God is using your gifts to draw people out of the kingdom of darkness and into the Kingdom of the Son He loves through short films!

Center for Global Impact (CGI)

Grace Church helped fund the training for our Culinary Training Center student, Streytout. She now has hope for the future and explained this hope in her own words:

"In the future, I want to be able to feed my mom well and provide for her. The reason I want to be a good chef is so I can have a job, make a steady income, and maybe buy new land someday to build a new house for me and my mom. I want to have a good life, I want to take care of my mom who has done so much to take care of me. And I want to continue to grow and change and learn to love more and more like Jesus. Thanks, Grace Church, for supporting Syreytout and the other students in CGI's vocational programs!!!"

SpringHill Camps

Because of you, SpringHill’s Indiana Overnight camp location is equipped with four, beautiful, new cabins to safely and comfortably host more young people. More than 600 campers were served this summer, thanks to these new cabins. Your gifts allow us to reach more campers with the good news of Jesus Christ!
