If you are in Grace Church during the week, you'll seen Jenn pushing her cleaning cart around to clean up after all of us. She has an unusual passion to clean and is really good at it! I have known Jenn my whole life - she’s my older sister. As a family we have attended Grace for almost 20 years, but Jenn has been attending for the past 5 years.

Five years ago, her life changed dramatically when she found out she was pregnant. Unfortunately, the father decided to not be a part of the child’s life. Jenn was determined to do everything she could to raise her son. May 2, 2011 our family was blessed with the birth of her son, Dominiq. At the time, Jenn was working for St. Vincent hospital, cleaning, and it did not pay very well. Fortunately, she was able to get some assistance from the state for childcare costs, but had a difficult time getting anything else.

Fast forward a couple of years and Jenn was blessed to get a job at Grace. She now has a stable check and wonderful insurance. As a single mom, that is hard to come by. She has also been able to be a part of the Grace Care Center. Jenn has been able to get groceries and utilized the financial services. They helped guide her through her taxes and making other financial decisions. When she found out this year she would be getting a significant amount of money in a tax return, she could feel God telling her that she needed to give to re:generate. You see, Jenn has been excited about re:generate since the beginning. She was very interested in the London plant, but more recently would like to be a part of the North Indy Campus.

Yes, as a single parent, Jenn could have kept her tax check as back-up for emergencies. However, she wanted to follow the call that God placed on her heart. She gave to re:generate and is “all-in!” God is continuing to provide for her, and even has paved a way for her to buy a home, she has a good man in her life who loves her and her son, and she will also be going to Japan with the Grace team this year!
