Jared is no newcomer to Grace, he’s been with us for a while as an attender and member of many ministries. Now, we’re happy to have him on our staff team. Jared will be filling the role of Custodian at our Fishers campus!

As we said, Jared’s no newbie. He’s lived in Fishers since he was in 3rd grade. He started attending Grace as a junior in high school and immediately got plugged into Merge (High School Ministry). He began serving as an usher during weekend services and still continues to do so today. He’s been on two mission’s trips with Merge, one to Haiti and another to Kenya.

Jared went to Indiana Wesleyan University for a year in a half and now does online classes with IVY Tech. In the past, he’s worked in lawn care, as a lifeguard, at Klipsh Music Center in security, and as a Student Intercultural Ambassador at Indiana Wesleyan University.

In his spare time, Jared has a TON of hobbies he partakes in. He loves making and editing videos, doing graphic design and other drawing art work. He also enjoys writing and reading, and especially likes journaling. He’s a man with a well rounded personality, so his hobbies don’t stop there. He also enjoys crafting and collecting random items to craft with. Jared likes playing strategy board games with his family and video games with friends. Additionally, he likes going fishing and shooting with his father and running with his mom. Mostly, he just enjoys constantly learning new things.

What’s unique about Jared? He cuts his own hair. Jared also has his own YouTube channel if you want to check it out too!

When asking Jared what he hopes to accomplish as a staff member, he says, “I hope to learn more about what it means to be part of Grace, and contribute to the place that I love so much. I just hope to see how God works through me as I contribute to the community and my fellow staff members. And if possible, love Grace more than I already do.”

When you see him at Fishers, tell him hello. Also, comment below to welcome him to staff!
