Welcome This New Beard!

Who doesn’t love a nice beard? Exactly! That’s why we’re thrilled to have another one on staff…brought to you by Bryan Pratt. He’s joining us as the Coordinator of Student Ministries - Central Support. Bryan was an intern just a year ago, so we are happy to have him back with us as a staff member!

To say Bryan’s been around the block a while is an understatement. He and his family have actually been attending Grace since 1993 and Bryan grew up attending Fuse and Merge. Additionally, he’s volunteered over the years as a host and teacher in Student Ministries. But that’s not all! He also plays guitar on the worship team, serves with production, leads YA small groups and interest groups, and most recently became a Coach for Fuse!

Bryan’s had several jobs over the years, but the most recent was at Gull Lake Ministries in Hickory Corners, MI! Until he got the job, he was also competing with Barry Rod’ and Curtis Honeycutt for most internships at Grace (they both have three, so he came up just short with two: once in 2011-2012 with Fuse and again in 2015-2016 with Merge).

Want to know more about Bryan? You should because he’s an interesting cat! He LOVES tv shows and binge watching Netflix. He’s also played guitar for the last 9 years and still practice about every day. The most random (but awesome) of all hobbies? He’s fixing up and rebuilding a broken jet ski he bought this year and hopes to have it up and running so it can be on the lake next summer!

Did you know that Bryan I’m the only person under 27 who’s set foot on the moon (we’re checking into this).
We asked Bryan what he wanted to accomplish as a Grace staff member and he told us, “To be able to spend more of my time than I did as a volunteer serving and hanging out with the students of Grace church!” Spending more time at “work”? Ok! We’re obviously excited to have him here and you should be too! Next time you see him roaming the halls, give him a great big bear hug and say hello!

BEWARE: Those with allergies need to keep a distance, Bryan is a sucker for anything that has peanut butter as an ingredient.
