Christmas Services

Find Hope this Christmas

Looking for hope? Joy? Comfort? Then join us for Christmas Eve Services at Grace Church! This year, we want you to take a break from the busy routine of the holidays and find hope in God, worship, and scripture. As always, we'll have a few fun surprises in store for you too. Grace is the place to be this Christmas, so invite your friends, family, and neighbors for a hope-filled service that will be sure to change their lives. Also, you don't need tickets to join us. We'll have seating for everyone at each of our campuses! All services are family friendly, but our children's rooms will be open too (see below for details).

Advent Activities & Devotions

Kids Advent Activity

  1. Print out the 12 activities. Then cut, fold and roll each paper to fit inside one muffin cup.

  2. Use a magnetic adhesive sheet and back the adhesive side with Christmas wrapping paper.

  3. Cut out 12 circles from the magnetic sheet, slightly larger than the muffin cup openings, giving you "ornaments" that fit over the cups.

  4. Number the circles 1-12. Place over the 12 folded activity papers and cover with the appropriately numbered circle. (You can also add a small surprise the corresponds to the symbol in every cup.)

  5. Each day, uncover the ornament and find the meaning behind that day’s symbol.

Prepare Him Room

The Christmas season can feel chaotic and cluttered, but it doesn't have to be that way. Jesus invites us to experience the fullness of joy that only comes when we rest in his presence. On a quiet night in the most unassuming place, Jesus made a humble entrance that would change the course of history. Our great God in infant form did not demand royal fanfare at his arrival. He just needed room - room enough to be Immanuel, God with us. Written by our very own Director of Young Adults, Maggie Johnson, this Advent devotional is for those who want to recover joy during the holidays! The book is $20 and is available on Amazon.

5 Free Advent Resources

These are great resources to complete on your own or as a family that will get you thinking about the Advent narrative together. They can also be used to facilitate discussion within your small or with friends, roommates or other community. These advent resources walk through the narrative of Jesus’ birth. It begins in the Garden with God’s promise of a Savior and ends with an eager anticipation of Jesus’ promised return. View here.
