Women played a vital role throughout the Bible and in Jesus’ life. Likewise, the Women of Grace play an integral part in whom Grace is as a church and in each other’s lives. Women from all walks of life come together to learn, study the Bible and engage in authentic community. We do this through Women’s Edition, Real Moms, GO Groups, special events and retreats.
146th Street: Tuesdays, September 8 – November 17 from 7:00–8:30 p.m.
146th Street: Wednesdays, September 9 – November 18 from 9:30–11:30 a.m.
Women’s Edition invites women of all ages and from all walks of life to grow as they study the Bible and engage in authentic community. Our fall offering is Hebrews: Jesus and the New Way. The author of Hebrews addresses first-century Christ-followers struggling to hold onto their new faith. Facing persecution and finding themselves excluded from their communities, they began questioning whether Jesus really was God’s final remedy. Some even considered going back to their old ways of doing things…back to what they knew…back to the familiar. Have you wondered how Jesus fits into your life? Whether He is the answer? Together, we’ll uncover more about Jesus and the new way of faith He invites us to. Each week you’ll hear from our teaching team, discuss the lesson with your small group, and engage with God while utilizing the course materials at home. Registration will open in August. For more information, contact Julie Meiners at email@example.com.
146th Street: Wednesdays or Thursdays, September 16/17 – December 2/3 from 9:30–11:30 a.m.
Real Moms is a place where moms of little ones (elementary-aged children and younger) are free to be themselves and ask questions about life and faith. Because being a mother brings incredible joy while adding lots of responsibilities, moms are invited to take a break, find fresh insight and encouragement, and build lasting friendships with other moms. Each week you’ll have time to enjoy breakfast, laughter and connection while hearing more about relevant topics of life and faith. Registration will open in August.
The Children's Program is offered to moms participating in Women's Edition and Real Moms. This program encourages children to grow in their relationship with Jesus through Scripture-based curriculum, story-telling, crafts, snacks, worship and fun-filled playtime. Please register early (when you complete your class registration) as spots fill up quickly. Registrations are processed in the order received and individual classrooms will close when they are full. Per Semester Fees:
Wednesday/Thursdays Mornings: 1 Child=$90; 2+ Children=$180
*Discount provided after second sibling
GO Groups are designed to launch small groups of women into the kingdom mission with a small group of women around a common cause or serving opportunity. These groups provide the privilege to come alongside those struggling to meet basic needs, lend hands-on practical help to like-minded organizations and increase the awareness of the realities of injustice in our world while tangibly expressing the heart of God through service.
