A Culture of Covenant Faithfulness
Marriage, according to Scripture, is not primarily about passion or compatibility—it's about covenant faithfulness. This is a posture, not a feeling. It’s a decision to stay, to serve, and to sacrifice, even when things get hard. It's about honoring the promises we make before God and to each other.
We want to help you build a marriage that reflects the gospel: a love that endures, forgives, grows, and puts the other person first. Romans 12 reminds us to “hate what is wrong” and “hold tightly to what is good”—and that’s the heartbeat of marriage here at Grace. We’re not chasing perfection. We’re fighting for faithfulness.
“Let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up.”
— Galatians 6:9
Marriage Is a Race to the Bottom
One of the greatest threats to marriage is selfishness. But we believe that Christlike love is the antidote. That’s why we invite couples to join a “race to the bottom”—outdoing one another in love, service, and honor (Romans 12:10). The more we learn to put our spouse first, the more we reflect the heart of Jesus and experience joy that runs deeper than feelings.
“Love each other with genuine affection. Take delight in honoring each other.”
— Romans 12:10
When Marriage Gets Hard
Let’s be honest—marriage can be tough. And our culture often encourages us to walk away when it gets uncomfortable. But Scripture tells us that perseverance through hardship produces maturity, healing, and spiritual depth. Sticking with it honors God and transforms us along the way.
So we keep our eyes on the prize: not just surviving marriage, but growing into a relationship that overflows with peace, joy, and love. We’re here to walk with you through every season—whether you're in crisis, rebuilding trust, or simply wanting to grow closer.
“Never be lazy, but work hard and serve the Lord enthusiastically. Rejoice in our confident hope. Be patient in trouble, and keep on praying.”
— Romans 12:11-12
