New Grace Care Center Grand Opening

NOBLESVILLE, IND. – December 26, 2019 - Grace Church and the GCC Foundation will host the Grand Opening of the New Grace Care Center on Friday, January 10, 2020 that will include a press conference and ribbon cutting. The new Grace Care Center will serve up to 1,200 families (called Care Center Friends) weekly with care and compassion through meeting tangible needs. The Choice Food Pantry, Referral Services, Vehicle Services, English Classes, and now a Thrift Store will be featured as part of the Grand Opening event.

Join the celebration on Friday, January 10, 2020 at 6:30 p.m. for a reception, short program, ribbon cutting (this part of the evening will be held outdoors, please dress appropriately for weather conditions), and get a tour of the new Care Center! No registration is needed, and kids are welcome to attend.

In July 2012, the Grace Care Center opened with the purpose of providing care and compassion to families struggling within the local community. Since then, the Care Center has grown to serve more than 600 families (2100 individuals) each week through the combined effort of four service areas: The Choice Food Pantry, Referral Services, Vehicle Services and ESL Services. Funding of the new Grace Care Center was provided by the GCC Foundation which raised $750,000 to underwrite the expansion costs.

The GCC Foundation was created in 2016 to fund the work of the Grace Care Center. The new nonprofit connects businesses and individuals to the Grace Care Center by highlighting the impact of the Grace Care Center on both clients and volunteers. The GCC Foundation supports multiple community outreach efforts through the Grace Care Center, including a choice food pantry, vehicle repair services, professional referral services, English classes, and a micro savings and loan program.
