The Grace Care Center has tons of great opportunities to volunteer alongside your coworkers, classmates, family, and more! Groups of all sizes are welcome!

Common group volunteer opportunities include:

  • Stocking shelves of the Choice Food Pantry
  • Prepping/loading grocery orders
  • Sorting goods for the Choice Food Pantry & Thrift Store

Common Volunteer Questions

How often you volunteer is totally up to you!

We consider regular volunteers those that agree to serve with us weekly or every other week. And we would love to have you join us in this way. However, feel free to join once us a month or however often your schedule allows.  

You can expect to jump into a fun, fast paced environment where you are actively bringing hope and healing to our local community.

Volunteer roles include shopping for groceries, checking out or bagging groceries, and loading groceries in our friends cars. We also have other opportunities such as sorting incoming donations and stocking the pantry shelves.  

We are taking all appropriate measures to keep our volunteers as safe and healthy as possible.

Face masks are optional for volunteers and there are hand sanitizer stations located throughout the Care Center.

There is no training required prior to serving in the Grace Care Center. All roles have “on the job” training that we will provide the first time you volunteer.

We will pair you with an experienced volunteer so you can learn the specifics of each role. As our goal is to find a volunteer opportunity that is just right for you!

Anyone is eligible to volunteer in the Grace Care Center. You do not have to attend Grace Church, or any church, to volunteer with us. We believe it takes all of us working together to bring hope and healing to our community.

Currently, children aged 12 and older are allowed to volunteer.
