The Story of Grace Church

Who We Are

Grace Church held its first service in September 1991 as a surprising 600+ people assembled to worship together in a warehouse in Westfield, IN. Throughout our history, with a laser-focus on the Kingdom of God, we've considered how we as the church can heal the brokenness of this world.

We have seen God do some miraculous things at Grace over the course of more than two decades. Ultimately, what we care about most is making disciples of Jesus and launching them into the mission of God. All we do – every ministry offered, each worship experience, any effort we make to reach out to this community and around the world – is rooted in our desire to challenge people to follow closely after Jesus Christ and live a life that reflects the desire He has for his Church to bring healing in this broken world.

We are a multisite church, which means we are one church in multiple locations. Each weekend, you can expect incredible, contemporary worship with a live band at each campus, extraordinary teaching from our pastors, and a safe place to learn about God and ask difficult questions. We are…

  1. Energetic: At our weekend services at Grace, we are constantly striving to enable the highest number of people to participate and engage God passionately.

  2. Relevant: We actively seek to reach and meet needs across generations

  3. Diverse: We strive to be flexible in utilizing multiple musical styles with excellence and passion.

Security. We take your child's safety and security very seriously. Once you arrive at Grace, visit the Info Center. Your children will be checked in, and you will also notice a unique three-digit alpha-numeric code on your receipt (example: Q4Z). For the safety and security of your child, it is important that you keep track of your receipt sticker. This helps us know that you are the person authorized to pick up your child.

Our middle school ministry (Fuse) meets every week for small groups during all services. Our high school ministry (Merge) always has events going on and meets Sunday evenings from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. for small groups and worship! Contact Michelle Hogge is you have questions.

The first weekend of every month, we invite you to bring the whole family to a service as we all worship together. Services are designed to appeal to you no matter your age. We also celebrate life change through inviting people to participate in baptisms on Worship Together Weekends! This one time per month is a great opportunity for you to worship with your family, and the rest of us, together! Please note that our infant through first grade rooms are still open for those that would like to use them during these weekends.

Wear what's comfortable! In the summertime, it's not uncommon to see people wearing sandals, shorts, and a shirt. Others prefer to still put on their "Sunday best," and that's fine too!

Yes! For those who are hearing impaired, we have special hearing devices that you can wear that will allow you to control the volume. If you think this would be beneficial to you, pick one up at the Info Center in the lobby. We also provide sign language interpreters and Spanish translation at our 146th Street campus at the 11:00 a.m. service
