FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Hamilton County neighbors can give gifts starting at $10 gift at gracechurch.us/christmastore. Local parents then shop for their own children at no cost.
NOBLESVILLE, Ind – Nov. 3, 2026 – The Grace Care Center will open its annual Christmas Store on Saturday, Dec. 19, where local parents shop at no cost for new toys and gifts for their children. The Care Center expects to serve 3,000 kids this year. Community members can help stock the shelves now at gracechurch.us/christmasstore, where gifts start at $10.
The Christmas Store is built on the simple idea that parents know their kids best. Each parent walks the aisles, picks out the gifts their child will love, and takes them home for Christmas morning. Families leave with dignity along with gifts, and kids open presents chosen by the people who know them best.
The online store opened on Nov. 1. Donors can pick a specific gift, and the Care Center team will buy it, stock it, and have it ready for a parent on Dec. 19. Donors can also give any amount and let the team choose the toys families need and want most. The goal is 9,000 gifts, or $55,000 by Sunday, December 13 and a live counter on the site tracks progress. The Christmas Store accepts financial gifts only and does not collect physical toy donations from individuals.
“Watching a mom or dad hold up a gift and say, ‘she’s going to love this’ is the best moment of our year,” said Steven Portillo, Director of Project Management at The Grace Care Center. “Every one of those moments starts with a neighbor taking two minutes to give. That’s how 3,000 kids in our community get a Christmas morning their parents planned just for them.”
