Journey to River City! VIP Event

Journey to River City at Grace Church with The Great American Songbook for one night only! Enjoy musical-theatre-themed mocktails and hors d'oeuvres as you get a behind-the-scenes look from director Amy Christie, meet the show’s lead actors, and learn about the genius behind the 5-time Tony-Award-winning creator of The Music Man, Meredith Willson, with a presentation by The Great American Songbook.

Coincidentally located right here in Carmel, Indiana, The Great American Songbook is an organization entrusted with the collection of the most important and influential American popular music from the early 20th century that has stood the test of time in their life and legacy. They hold the most extensive collection of Meredith Willson’s archives with contents including original photographs, personal and business correspondence, sheet music, arrangements, and audio and visual recordings from the musician-broadcaster-playwright's personal collection, some of which will be on display at the event.

The event will end with enough time for you to take your seats for the evening’s performance. The event will run from 5:30-6:30 pm, doors will open at 5:15 pm.
