Ken grew up in Kenya and developed a passion for church planting at Nairobi Chapel. After years of ministry in Kenya, he and his wife, Wacuka, accepted the call to lead the church planting effort in Sydney, Australia with Nairobi Chapel and Grace Church. They moved to Indiana with their two children, Nate and Mukeni, to be part of Grace Church for a year before moving to Sydney to join the Baptist Association of New South Wales. Ken continues to serve with the Baptist Association, playing a significant role in their vision of planting 1,000 healthy churches in one generation throughout the region. He works with pastors and leaders from across different cultures to see new churches planted and old churches revitalized, from traditional churches in neighborhoods to simple churches meeting in cafes and people's homes. Ken is also Senior Pastor at Ryde Baptist Church in Sydney.
