Host a Watch Party at Home

The church is not a building. It's people.Gather Some Friends for a Watch Party

This season could be a great opportunity to invite friends, family, and co-workers that you feel safe with to join you at home for a church watch party! While practicing safe social distancing, gather a small group together in your home and share in an incredible worship experience.

What is a Home Watch Party?

Smaller groups are safer gathering spaces. So who are the people in your life that you consider family? Could be neighbors, friends, coworkers, or someone else that you feel safe to share space with and can experience the hope, love, and encouragement that can only be found in God's word together. Consider hosting a "watch party" at your home or designated space!

Grace Church services will be broadcast each week on Sunday at 9:15 & 11:00 a.m.

We encourage you to join with others and worship during these services times. However, services will be archived on the Grace Church YouTube page, so can host your watch party anytime, and view the service on-demand.

Watch Party FAQ

Here's a few answers to common questions about hosting a church watch party at your home.

Who are the people in your life that you consider "your people?" This could be family, friends, neighbors, co-workers, life groups, or someone else! Consider hosting them in your home in a safe and socially distanced manner to enjoy community together while participating in Grace Church worship.

We will still be broadcasting worship services on our website, Facebook Live, and YouTube page. These services will be broadcast at our normal service times, including Sundays at 9:15 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.

But you don't need to limit your experience to those 3 times! We publish and archive all of our services on our YouTube channel. So you could schedule your watch party during a time that's most convenient for you and your watch group!

Fine china isn't needed, but popcorn is!Tips for Hosting a Watch Party

Here's a few friendly tips for hosting people in your home who may not be familiar, or comfortable with watching a church service:

  • Light snacks are never a bad thing. To be as safe as possible, try not sharing food from the same bowl or plate with others!
  • Don't hesitate to ask someone if you can pray for them.
  • Ask an application question at the end of the service ("Anyone have any ideas of how you could apply what you just heard?").
  • If you see someone might be a good Host themselves, encourage them to open their home.
